crazy days are here again....so i started my day talking to my principal. apparently, she wants me back next year. but even if i want to stay, it's up to the district. even now they can lay me off at anytime, even if the school says they need me... oh well...
so 2 of my students have my IM cuz they saw it on my labtop back before the school cut me off, and they talk to me online sometimes. it's funny cuz the two are horrible students, they're ALWAYS going out to the city, getting drunk, doing drugs, etc. so one of them sends me this:

all i can do is laugh. kind of my reaction to all my other kids. can't care too much or they'll drag you down. but it's sad when they really do have serious problems though, and i can't help..

another should-be-working-but-too-lazy blog...just finished watching a video titled "Why Sex?". it showed how chimpanzees have to fight each other for mates, but bonobos (closely related to humans) make love, not war and how they enjoy multiple ways of having sex. gonna have fun showing that to my kids tomorrow.

anways, was over at my colleagues getting the tv, and she had a student over. funny how i forget when they're still around. i still refer to my kids as morons. it's a term of endearment. too bad they don't see that way. i'm still shocked that i'm a teacher. never woulda though considering how lazy i was in school. and i think the secretary made a mistake in my "official status". i'm supposed to be on a temp contract, but then a few weeks ago, my name disappeared from the time sheet. eh? did i get laid off (highly probable considering the money problems of Oakland). anyways, they call me today and wonder why i've been writing my own name when it's been in the other time sheet for permanent status teachers. does that mean they want me back? shoot...might have to postpone those mechanic classes for a bit
