nothing like getting your ass kicked in a good tkd workout. closest i've come to puking (from a workout) since my old hs track days. then when we did forms, i was so bad, master ahn told me to go learn them on the side. i guess i deserved that though since i don't even know the forms.

shadowing was interesting today. i decided to only go to two of this kid's classes. the rest were like art or PE or something. i took the opportunity to observe some of my fellow science teachers. i think by comparison, i'm not doing too bad. i also stopped by my own class to check up on them and to make sure they wren't trashing my room, or the sub. i think i finally found a sub that i'd like to rehire. one of the kids told me he didn't like him, and i asked why. when my kid said "cuz he always makes us do our work" i knew i found a keeper.

ever eat just cuz you felt like it? i think i do that too much. the other day i went to jack in the box after practice, and i decided to buy a little extra so i could have a snack tomorrow. i ended up getting that new chicken chipotle sandwhich (which tasted OK), fries, coke, two tacos, a chilicheeseburger, and a regular chicken sandwhich. i finished the whole damn thing in one sitting though so i didn't get a snack today. kind of surprised me. my apetite has come back with a vengeance. so now i think i'll have to start watching what i eat again. too many cup o noodles and the like in my room....

tomorrow iget to shadow a student....it's gonna be interesting seeing other teachers teach. never really saw that...not since i was in hs i mean.
i also contacted my old english teacher the other day thanks to eric go, who just happened to be mentoring in avid, which i did when i was back in los altos. crazy coincidence. so lahs is actually looking for a science teacher..something i'm actually considering....hmmm...what do you think? should i go back and teach at my old school? it'd definately be a lot easier. but where would i live? do i do the hellish commute down to the south bay? or do i move down to the southbay and rent out my place? aiyaa..but then i'd have to switch martial arts schools...

yeah! internet again. i'm on dial up now in my kitchen...
not much happening in my life..just showing Tak (friend from japan) around during my free time. good joke from Letterman:"President Bush has said that he does not need approval from the U.N. to wage war, and I'm thinking, well, hell, he didn't need the approval of the American voters to become president, either."

Spring break countdown...6 more days! wooohoo
