on the back of my tests for my students, i usually give them a quote or piece of advise that i have them think about. on this last test, i had them write something.

this is what i got from one the juniors:
"honor, loyolt.....loyalty, respect. the way of the samauri"

i shall follow the way of the samauri forever more!

anyways, i saw "the last samurai" and i thought it was pretty good. not at all like the cheapie white man with yellow fever movie i was expecting...

so what's going on with me lately? i've been so out of it. on my last day playing vball this semester, i was driving to berkeley after work...and well...i kept nodding my head as i drove cuz i'd fall asleep for a splitsec or two. i've been pretty tired these past couple of months, so i didn't think much of it. i should've. i rear ended someone on shattuck...luckily i was going slow cuz i was asleep...they guy can't sue me though cuz it wasn't dangerous and i had a cop (who was RIGHT behind me) to confirm...but still...i felt like a moron.
to make me feel even dumber, i drove off with my license and insurance info on the top of my car so i had to walk back later (stupid one way streets) and pick up my stuff off the streets. luckily i found everything, even after several cars had run over my license...
