so life is decent again....i've just calculated the average hours of work i've been pulling in....50-55 hrs a week. Is that a lot still? I've been talking to some friends, and apparently, I have no concept of what "normal" working hours are. 40? how can that be? such a tiny number....
it's funny though when my friends ask me what time i'm "required" to be there. technically, 7:30-3:05 M-F. So that's what, only 7.5 hrs a day, which adds up to 37.5 hrs right? And when i get stressed, my friends always suggest for me to just leave. i think my colleagues at work get the same thing from their friends and even spouses. thing is, we can't just leave. we have to get the work done. if we didn't, we wouldn't really be donig our jobs. and if we were the type to not really care about that, we wouldn't be teachers. so is it worth the stress? who knows...

but anyways, life has been decent. i'm finalyl teaching classes that i've taught before, so my prep has been cut down from 2 hrs a day to maybe 30 min a day. that's 90 min more every single day to procrastinate something!
i've started training and getting in shape, and i've put in over 200 miles on my motorcycle the past 3 days. now all i need is someone to ride with!
